If Paradise was called Greece, Captain Greg would be Saint Peter. He and his very nice spouse welcomed us for a great, relaxing trip along the western coasts of Sithonia. For our young children, this was a first sailing experience with more to come. OK, there was not a lot of wind to do real sailing, but the sea breeze and the sun largely made up for it. Snorkling and swimming in uncrowded bays were certainly welcome. If you take the cruise, then opt for a lunch stop at PANOS tavern, one of the greatest places on the peninsula. S W10 August 2025My wife, two daughters, and I, spent a lovely evening on the Alkioni with Captain Grigorious (Greg) and Georgia from Halkidiki Sailing. There were 8 guests on the trip and plenty of space on the sailing boat for everyone to do their own thing. We visited a couple of quiet coves for swimming before settling back to watch the sunset, with a background soundtrack of chilled jazz (or whatever the guests wanted from the extensive playlist). The boat had a ladder for easy access to the water and a clean water shower. There was also a paddleboard available for guests to use, which my daughters loved trying out. The tour was relaxed and Captain Greg and Georgia, were friendly, attentive, and entertaining. We had a great time and would definitely repeat the trip if we come back again. If you fancy a more personal, chilled out experience, this is definitely worth the extra few Euros per person compared to going on the bigger tourist boats. Robert Edgecock30 July 2025We had an incredible day sailing in Greece with Captain Greg! From the moment we stepped aboard, he was fun, respectful, professional, and made us feel completely at ease. He took us to some beautiful coves that we would never have discovered on our own, and the whole experience—complete with delicious food and refreshing drinks—was unforgettable. We had such a brilliant time that we immediately booked another trip with him four days later. The second trip was just as magical. We relaxed with floating devices, snorkelled with goggles provided, and enjoyed stunning views at every turn. A highlight was our stop at Panos Restaurant, a hidden gem serving authentic local food in a breathtaking setting overlooking the sea. Captain Greg was such a legend that we insisted he join us for lunch, and we’re so glad he did—his insight into the local cuisine added a special touch to an already perfect day. Fred Galvin17 June 2025A fantastic day on a beautiful boat, skippered by Grigorios himself who couldn’t have been a more friendly and accommodating host. Took us to some stunning private beaches and coves and supplied us with snorkles, stand up paddle boards. Use of the fridge for our own snacks and drinks and unlimited bottled water provided. He even provided some delicious wine for us. We booked a semi private tour with up to 8 people and we had 8 guests onboard, it didn’t feel cramped at any point and all the guests were very friendly too. Thank you Greg!Posted on Google

The day was very beautiful with a little bit of wind, and even though the day helped,our trip would definitely not be the same without our captain Greg. Cpt. Greg is an experienced captain that is equally professional and hospitable, knows the area extremely well and he showed us amazing hidden gems that we would otherwise have no idea about. Lukas Volker17 October 2023We can summarise our 5 hour sailing trip with two words: Just perfect. We felt always save, enjoyed the famous greek hospitality at its best and all for an affordable price. We try to be with our Kids on the water every vacation to explore a country from a different perspective. It was never as easy as with Captain Greg. A quick message via Whatsapp and 3 hours later we were onboard of his marvellous sailing ship. We sailed from Miraggo Marina over to Sithonia with light wind. Did some sailing manoeuvres and anchored in a beautiful bay we had for ourselves for snorkelling. On the way back enjoyed the sunset over Kassandra. Captain Greg and Georgia do this all with a lot of routine in sailing and a very personal touch of sharing their knowledge and treating their guests.Posted on Getyourguide

Pavel27 July 2023We went out with capt Greg out of a private marina in Kassandra for a 5hr afternoon trip. There was dedicated parking for cars and a short walk to the dock. There were 8 of us on this tour. Greg is a nice guy who's willing to engage in a conversation if you like. Sounds like he knows everything about boats, sailing, etc. It took us about an hour to get to another peninsula where we stopped in two different laguna's to snorkel, paddle board and swim. Greg had 11' inflatable paddle board and also a couple of masks for snorkeling. No flippers though. The weather was beautiful and the laguna's were quiet and serene despite a bit of wind and waves in the open water. The trip back to the dock was a bit longer (70 min) because we went without the sail. Overall the experience was excellent starting with online booking, communicating with Greg via whatsapp and spending time on his boat.
